HomeNepal Domestic Flight Prices

The standard fares for popular routes are listed in the table below. For routes not included, please contact us for pricing.

Airfare must be paid at the time of ticket issuance, so the price may differ from the listed fare at the time of payment.

If you are only requesting tickets, you will need to transfer the full amount in advance. We will then issue the e-ticket and send it to you via email. If you prefer a different delivery method, please let us know.

For those requesting tickets only and wishing to pick them up at Kathmandu Airport, an additional fee may apply. Please inquire about this when making your reservation.

Please note that we cannot arrange air tickets for mountain flights between Kathmandu and Lukla, or between Pokhara and Jomsom, for customers without a guide.

Things you need to know before booking a domestic flight
  1. Nepal’s domestic flights are subject to visual flight restrictions, so there are many delays and cancellations. Most of these are due to bad weather, but because it is a mountainous country, it is very difficult to pinpoint the weather in advance like in Japan, and flights are often unable to go as planned.
  2. In particular, during the rainy season (June to September) and winter (December to February), visibility is often poor due to rainfall and thick fog, which can cause significant delays. For this reason, it is important to plan your trip well in advance.
  3. In addition to the weather, Kathmandu Airport is unable to handle the number of international and domestic flights taking off and landing due to a lack of capacity, which can result in long delays due to congestion while waiting for flights to and from the airport.
  4. The longest delays we have dealt with were a 6 hour delay to Pokhara and a 10 hour delay to Lukla. Still, it’s a good thing the flight is still flying, and sometimes the delays are so bad that they are declared canceled.
Response in the event of a flight cancellation

If a flight you have booked with us is canceled, we will handle it as follows:

  1. Transfer to the Next Day’s Flight:
If your flight is canceled, you will typically be rebooked on the next available flight at no additional cost. You will need to visit the airline counter at the airport to update the date on your ticket. If you have a guide with you, they will assist with this. If not, you will need to manage the rebooking yourself.
  2. Cancellation Without Using the Alternative Flight:
If you choose not to take the alternative flight offered by the airline, you are eligible for a refund. This will not be processed at the airport but through our company. We will convert the refund amount, minus a 5 USD fee per ticket, into Japanese yen and transfer it to your designated account. If you prefer to receive cash while in Nepal, we can refund it in Nepalese rupees instead.
