Although it is often thought of as a Himalayan country, southern Nepal is only about 200 to 500 meters above sea level and is covered with jungles where wild animals live.
Jungle safaris at Chitwan National Park, which is easily accessible from Kathmandu, are well known, but there are also several other wildlife sanctuaries where you can interact with wild animals.
However, unlike Chitwan, these areas are not as easily accessible, do not have adequate local accommodation, and many are not adequately prepared to welcome tourists, so here we will introduce some activities in Chitwan.
There used to be several lodges inside the national park, but their lease agreements with the government ended in mid-July 2012, and all the lodges withdrew from the national park in November of the same year. Currently, the only lodges left are outside the national park, in the “Bagmara” area near “Sourah”, “Meghauli” area, and in “Sourah”.

Hotels in Chitwan arranged by our company offer a range of comfortable accommodations to suit every traveler’s needs. While lodges inside the national park are no longer available, we have carefully selected hotels in key areas such as the Bagmara area near Sauraha, Meghauli, and within Sauraha itself. These locations provide easy access to the stunning Chitwan National Park, allowing you to enjoy the park’s natural beauty while staying in quality accommodations.
