What's included
Changu Narayan, located about 20 km northeast of central Kathmandu, is home to an ancient temple and is a designated World Heritage Site.
After visiting Nagarkot by private vehicle, this plan involves hiking part of the way to Changu Narayan.
Example itinerary
Depart from Kathmandu hotels
→ Move to Nagarkot Observation Deck by private car (approximately 1.5 hours)
→After watching the sunrise, move to Tercot by private car (approximately 30 minutes)
→ Arrive at Tercot and start hiking (about 2.5 hours)
→ Arrive at Changu Narayan, visit the temple, etc. (about 1 hour)
→After the tour, head to Kathmandu (approximately 1.5 hours)
→ Arrive at hotel in Kathmandu
Additional information about the itinerary
- This can be done according to your convenience. If you want to watch the sunrise, we depart Kathmandu at around 4am in the summer and around 5am in the winter. If you don’t want to watch the sunrise, you can leave at any time you like, but it is recommended that you leave by 8am to avoid morning traffic jams.
- On the way back to Kathmandu from Changu Narayan, you will pass through Bhaktapur, so you can also stop there (additional charge).

We do not offer shared tours with other customers, so you can walk at your own pace.
